What are volunteer recognitions?
Each and every day volunteers make Girl Scouting possible for nearly 20,000 youth members across Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. One of the ways we say thank you is through an annual process to honor volunteers with formal, national, and council recognitions that are reviewed by our Volunteer Recognition Committee and approved by our Board of Directors.
How can you help?
Through this process you will share information about a volunteer doing amazing work to support the Girl Scout Movement locally, across multiple communities, council-wide or even nationally. From there, your submission will be reviewed by a committee of volunteers who will consider what you have shared and how it aligns with the criteria for a Girl Scouts of the USA Recognitions or Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts award. All nomination forms are due by 11:59pm on Friday, February 14, 2025.
